David Dave Allan Arth, 57, of Waseca, died Thursday, November 16, 2017 in Waseca after a long struggle with depression. He was born August 8, 1960 in Hankinson, North Dakota the son of George and Ada (Sukut) Arth. Dave graduated from Waseca High School. He served in the US Air Force from 1978-1981. David married Melinda Hurst June 6, 1981 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. The couple lived in Owatonna for several years before recently moving back to Waseca. Dave worked for A&R, Roadway and ABF Freight. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church where he had served as an usher and deacon. He enjoyed his membership at Lakeside Country Club in Waseca. Dave was a perfectionist, which showed in his many carpentry and construction projects. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, skiing, boating and many other outdoor sports. He also enjoyed traveling, photography, flowers and yardwork. He loved to participate in all of these hobbies and interests with his family. He is survived by his wife, Melinda Mindy Arth of Waseca; sons, Vince (and Ani) Arth of Issaquah, WA, Eddie Arth of Tampa, FL; daughter, Tacori Arth of Waseca; grandson, Benjamin Arth; brothers, Jeff (and Pam) Arth of Farmington, Larry Arth of Sarasota, FL; sisters, Delilah (and Tom) Phillips of Minnesota Lake, Deb (and Tony) Chadwick of Owatonna and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Rick. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Monday from 3pm to 7pm and at Grace Baptist Church on Tuesday from 9:30am to 10:30am. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 10:30am at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor David Levy officiating. Burial will be in the Ft.
