David L. Bakken, 69, of Owatonna, died Saturday, February 14, 2009 at his home. He was born March 3, 1939 in Sebeka, Minnesota the son of Carl and Mabel (Norem) Bakken. David worked as an auto mechanic, at Cybex in Owatonna, and for the Rochester Airport. He is survived by children, Jason (and Amy) Bakken of St. Paul, Julie Bakken of Maryland, and Janelle Piercey of Arizona, six grandchildren, two brothers and four sisters. His parents and two brothers preceded him in death. Memorial service will be Friday February 27, 2009 at 2 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with the Reverend Ron Gilthvedt officiating, visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
