David A. Ihrke, 61, of Owatonna, died Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Homestead Hospice House. He was born June 16, 1949 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Lester and LaRue (Runge) Ihrke. He graduated from Owatonna High School in 1967. David was employed at various manufacturing companies in Owatonna. David enjoyed listening to music, NASCAR, stamp and coin collecting, and enjoyed watching football. He is survived by his mother, LaRue Ihrke of Owatonna; brother, Larry (and Bonnie) Ihrke of Hayfield; nieces, Amy Ihrke of Tuscon, AZ and Heidi Ihrke of Grand Junction, CO; special friend and cousin, Kim Simon of Owatonna; aunts, uncles and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Ihrke. Visitation will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, Medford on Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM . Funeral services will be held January 11, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, Medford with The Reverend Dean Rudloff officiating.
