David Allan Krippner, 52, of West Jordan, Utah died Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Intermountain Medical Center. David was born November 24, 1962 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Alfred and Mary (Green) Krippner. He was raised in Owatonna and graduated from OHS class of 1981. He then enlisted in the United States Navy. After receiving his honorable discharge, he lived in California. Dave then moved to Utah where he attended Utah State University where he received his Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering. He began working for the Kennecott Utah Copper Corporation. Dave loved motocross and growing up he spent many days at Rafdal's gravel pit near Medford. He enjoyed traveling and over the past few years took some special trips with his mother, Mary. He also enjoyed going to Mexico in the winter months. Dave was a dedicated employee that worked with passion, enthusiasm and professionalism. He will be truly missed by his co-workers and his family. He is survived by his mother, Mary Krippner of Owatonna; a brother, Robert Krippner of Hasting; his daughters, Bobbi Lee Krippner of Minneapolis; Amber (and Aaron) Walsh of American Forks, UT; Kristin (and Jarom) Hansen of Belton, TX; a aunt, Susan Green of Denver, CO; his uncle, Fred Green of Owatonna; six grandchildren; a niece, Sarah (and Jeremy) Schlichter of Claremont; and his faithful and loyal four legged friends, Ted and Ozzy. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Krippner; his grandparents and a niece. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with The Reverend James D. Oberg officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna. Military honors will be provided by the Steele County Military Funeral Unit.
