Dawn Marie Fellows, 81, of West Concord, died Friday, June 22, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester. She was born March 24, 1931 in West Concord the daughter of LeRoy and Margaret (Osborn) Smith. Dawn graduated from West Concord High School before attending Winona State University. She graduated from Winona State with a Teaching Degree and taught 3rd grade. Dawn married L. Glenn Fellows August 14, 1951 at St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church in Claremont. Dawn owned Candles by Dawn craft shop in West Concord, was the Activities Director for Fairview Nursing Home and later the City Clerk for the City of West Concord. She belongs to the West Concord Study Club, Red Hat Society, and St. Vincent CCW. She was a charter member of the West Concord Historical Society and St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church. She is survived by sons, Mark (and Lee) Fellows of Granville, OH, Matthew (and Terri) Fellows of Phoenix, AZ, John (and Val) Fellows of Owatonna, Luke (and Annette) Fellows of Plymouth; daughter, Mary (and Scott) Umsted of West Concord; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine Peterson of Rochester, Bette Marcuson of Kenyon and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, L. Glenn Fellows; grandson, Martin Fellows; great grandson, Tru W. Tumbelson. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, West Concord on Monday from 4pm to 8pm and at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10am to 11am. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 11am at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church with Father Will Thompson officiating.
