On December 23 our Lord took home our Angel, Dawn Rashell Hanneman. Dawn died at the Owatonna Hospital after having neck surgery a few days prior. She was born March 24, 1967 in Owatonna the daughter of John and Gloria (Eliason) Cox. Dawn graduated from Owatonna High School with the Class of 1985. She married Darin Hanneman July 16, 1994 in Owatonna. Dawn worked for OTC prior to starting at Hy-Vee where she has worked since the late 1990's. Dawn loved being outdoors. She took immaculate care of her lawn and landscaping. She loved gardening, crocheting and collecting Angels. Dawn also cherished the time she spent with her granddaughter, Paige. She is survived by her husband Darin Hanneman; son, Tony (and Devin Walsh) Hanneman; daughter, Katelyn Hanneman; granddaughter, Paige Hanneman; mother, Gloria (and Tom Edlund) Cox-Edlund; brother, Allen (and Cathy) Cox; mother in law, Barbara Hanneman; brother in law, Randy Hanneman; sister in law, Raynell Hanneman and nieces and nephews, all of Owatonna. She was preceded in death by father, John; sister, Denise; father in law, Clarence. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm and at St. John Lutheran Church on Thursday from 9:30am to 10:30am. Funeral services will be held December 27, 2012 at 10:30am at St. John Lutheran Church with Pastor Dave Klawiter officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna.
