Dayna Joyce Wiese, 61, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Owatonna on Wednesday, May 13, 2015. She was born in Great Falls, MT to George J. and Patricia (Dunlap) Calvert on June 10, 1953. She graduated from Mayo High School in Rochester in 1971 and was employed at Medtronic in Minneapolis. She later earned am esthetician's certificate at Aveda Horst Institute in Minneapolis. She married Terry N. Halbert in 1978. They were later divorced. She was employed as the director for sales at Jaguar Communications in Owatonna until her early retirement in Oct. 2009. She married Roger B. Wiese of Owatonna in Aug. 2013 and he survives, as does her son, Jacob G. Halbert of Rosemount, two grandsons, step son, Eric Wiese of Owatonna, her mother and a sister, Brianne Burke both of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her father and infant son. Her favorite hobbies were spending time with family and friends, caring for her several pets, and motorcycle riding. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Sunday from 4pm to 7pm and on Monday from 1pm to 2pm. Memorial services will be held Monday, May 18, 2015 at 2pm at Michaelson Funeral Home with The Reverend Greg Schlicker officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
