Dean William Imm, 85, of Owatonna, died Sunday, June 9, 2019 at his home from Parkinson's Disease. He was born July 7, 1933 in Manson, Iowa the son of Andrew and Altye (Wiese) Imm. Dean farmed with his family in Iowa prior to moving to Minnesota in 1955. Dean married Eunice Thofson on July 7, 1957 at Hayward Lutheran Church. The couple lived and farmed near Hayward. Dean also worked at the courthouse in Albert Lea doing general and boiler maintenance. After retiring, the couple moved to Owatonna in 1994. In retirement, Dean worked at the Owatonna Country Club and Sterling Drug as a prescription delivery driver. Dean was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and spending time at his daughter's cabin. He is survived by his wife, Eunice Imm of Owatonna; children, Duane (and Cindy) Imm of Owatonna, Susan (and Bob) Hochban of Circle Pines, Sandra (and Don) Williams of Stafford, VA, Steven (and Tiffany Tan) Imm of Chippewa Falls, WI; son in law, John Abraham of Sauk Rapids; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra and brother, Harlan. Graveside interment services will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Owatonna Memorial Gardens at 11am.
