Dean Curtis Kremmin, 46, of Owatonna, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009. He was born October 4, 1963 in Mountain Lake the son of Otto and Dorothy (Jass) Kremmin. Dean graduated from Mountain Lake High School with the Class of 1982. He attended college at Mankato State University graduating in 1985. Dean married Amy Stadtlander Sept. 7, 1985 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mountain Lake. The couple made their home in Owatonna where Dean began working for Federated Insurance. Dean loved his career and the friends he made at Federated Insurance. Dean was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he served on the properties committee. He enjoyed co-ed volleyball, golfing, boating and waterskiing. Dean was a huge sports fan. He loved woodworking and snowmobiling and cutting trees for wood. Dean had recently renewed his interest in horseback riding. Most of all Dean loved and was committed to his family and friends. Dean is survived by his wife, Amy; son, Justin Kremmin and daughter, Haylee Kremmin all of Owatonna. He is also survived by his father, Otto Kremmin of Mountain Lake; brothers, Jim (and Deb) Kremmin of Mountain Lake, Ron (and Mary Sue) Kremmin of Webster, Tom (and Char) Kremmin of Milford, IA, Randy (and LuAnn) Kremmin of Windom, Doug (and Kim) Kremmin of Windom, Jason (and Heather) Kremmin of Mountain Lake; mother in law, Janice Stadtlander of Mountain Lake; sister in laws, Doreen (and Richard) Paul of St. James, Julie (and Todd) Johnson of Mountain Lake, Carrie (and Mike) Klassen of Madison Lake; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Zachary; mother, Dorothy and father in law, Melvin Stadtlander Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday from 4pm to 8pm and at Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday from 2pm to 3pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 3:00pm at Trinity Lutheran Church with The Reverend Dean Smith officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna.
