Debra Ann Korthals, age 66, of Blooming Prairie died on January 6, 2023 at her home.

Debra, the daughter of Charles and Joan (Miller) Bergin, was born on February 4, 1956, in Minneapolis. She worked as a machinist at Owatonna Tool Company for nearly thirty years. Debra enjoyed riding motorcycle, gardening and road trips. She liked to travel whether it was to destinations she had heard about or just down some road to see where it went. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters Carry Bergin-Hubbell (and Kenneth Hubbell) of Austin, Sabrina Highfield of Owatonna; grandchildren Ella Bergin, Kaine Baldus, Lily Highfield, Briley Highfield and Jaida Wilson; significant other of 25 years Dennis Johnson of Blooming Prairie. She is also survived by her brother Keith Bergin of Montrose, Kathy (and Dan) Veaderko of Waverly and Melissa Bergin (and Dave Cabianca) of Becker. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Joan, son Travis Troska and sister Sue Rath.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM with a memory sharing time at 3:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna.
