Debra Jean Link-Herold, 57, of West Concord, died Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Methodist Hospital in Rochester.
She was born August 11, 1963 in Oak Park, IL the daughter of Charles and Jean (Ankney) Link. In 1973, she moved with her family to Bloomington, MN. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Bloomington in 1982. She continued her education at Mankato State University and then Cosmetology School in the Twin Cities. Debra worked at hair salons in Eden Prairie, Brandon and most recently at B&G in Cottage Grove. On June 16, 2016, Debra married James "Jim" Herold and the couple made their home in West Concord.
Debra was a dedicated single parent raising four children. She grew up watching football with her father and was an avid Vikings fan. She enjoyed life to its fullest, loved to laugh and had a positive outlook on life. Debra's co-workers were an extension of her family. She treasured their friendship and dearly enjoyed spending time with them at work and outside of work. She also enjoyed flower gardening, Pinterest projects, crafts and painting crafts, loved all candy and rescued a few dogs over the years.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Herold of West Concord; children, Sabian Callisto of Brooklyn Center, Jordan Callisto of St. Paul, Dane Long of Mankato and Kiefen Link of West Concord; mother, Jean (Frank) Ruggiero of Florida; siblings, Mark (Kaari) Link of Lakeville and Kim (Roger) Behrens of Chanhassen; father and mother in law, Eugene and Marianne Herold of West Concord; step children, Chris Herold and Shelby Herold of West Concord; sisters in law, Patty (Gary) Braeger of West Concord and Diane Herold of Minneapolis and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Link; grandparents, David and Lela Ankney and Wayne and Ruth Link and brother in law, Michael Herold
Services for Debra will be private.

Interment will be in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery in West Concord.
Memorials are preferred to Mayo Clinic Cancer Research in Rochester, MN.
