Della Eloise Johnson, 96, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Cedarview Care Center. She was born January 28, 1912 in Berlin Township the daughter of William and Mary (Jacobson) Sommers. Della married William Johnson Jan. 15, 1934 in Owatonna. The couple lived in Ellendale until moving to Owatonna in 1958. Della worked for Hart''s Central Bakery for over 19 years. She was an active member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church where she participated in the Ladies Quilting Group, Bible Study and many other activities. Della was a member of the Eagle's Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and Senior Place. She enjoyed playing Bingo, spending time with family and friends and was an avid fan of the Minnesota Twins. Della is survived by her daughters, Sharon (and Bob) Maxfield of Owatonna, Kathy (and Helmer) Lembke of Elysian; 9 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; 2 sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; son, Ronnie and 2 brothers, Earl and Bernie. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday from 4-7 PM and at Our Savior's Lutheran Church on Saturday from 12:30-1:30 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 1:30 PM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
