Delmer Arthur Borwege, 73, of Medford, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at his residence.

He was born December 13, 1952, in Owatonna, the son of Elmer Borwege and Arlene (Johns) Concannon. Delmer attended school in Medford. He enlisted in the U.S. Marines in 1971 and also served in the Army National Guard for over 20 years.

Delmer was united in marriage to Bonnie Morris and they had three daughters: Emilie, Mary and April. Delmer and Bonnie later divorced. He worked as a machinist for several years at OTC and retired from Cybex. He was a member of Owatonna VFW. Delmer enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing Texas Hold’em poker.

Delmer is survived by his three daughters, Emilie (Matt) Borwege of Medford, Mary (Cody) Borwege of Faribault, and April (Dane) Borwege of St. Paul; five grandchildren, Carter, Elliot, Calliope, Barrett and Moira; mother, Arlene Concannon of Medford; sister, Fran Pederson of Owatonna; two nieces; and best friends, Tom Sands and Walter Masche.

He was preceded in death by father, Elmer and former wife, Bonnie Morris in 2019.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, June 12, 2026, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Medford with Pastor Ian Thormodson officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church on Thursday and continues one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery in Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to the Owatonna VFW.
