Delores M. Barr, 92, of Owatonna, died Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Owatonna Hospital. She was born January 29, 1922 in Ettrik, Wisconsin the daughter of Lester and Laura (Eckart) Buchholz. She graduated from High School in Blair, WI in 1940. Delores was united in marriage to Rexford Barr on May 26, 1943 in Whitehall, WI. The couple moved to St. Charles, MN and lived around South Eastern Minnesota before moving to Blair, WI in 1977. Rexford died in 1992 and Delores then moved to Owatonna. Together Delores and Rexford enjoyed wintering in Texas, camping and traveling. Delores enjoyed gardening and fishing. She is survived by two daughters Sharon Volkman and Darlene (Martin) Gathje both of Owatonna. She is also survived by six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren who gave her joy in her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Rexford, and granddaughter Katie Volkman. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Thursday November 6, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Thursday November 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with The Reverend Barb Streed officiating.
