Delores B. Bruessel, 75 of Owatonna, died Monday, November 14, 2011 at Homestead Hospice House. She was born October 2, 1936 in Milton Township, Dodge County, Minnesota the daughter of Gerhardt and Matilda (Wichser) Dohrmann. She then attended Mantorville High School, and married Darrel Bruessel on November 12, 1955 in Pine Island. Delores worked at the Steele County Public Health, and was a volunteer at the Owatonna Hospital Auxiliary/ Pink Pantry. She loved being with her family, beautifying her home, gardening, traveling, and playing cards. She was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband Darrel Bruessel of Owatonna, daughter, Roxanne (and Craig) Goetz of Cedar Rapids, son, Jeff (and Carla) Bruessel of Owatonna, grandchildren Christa, Jessica, and Joel Bruessel, and a sister, LaVonne Streiff of Avondale, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday November 18, 2011 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A private family service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church with The Reverend Julie Malone officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna.
