Delores Luella Wells, 74, of Owatonna, died Saturday, December 19, 2009 at her home. She was born August 6, 1935 in Owatonna the daughter of Myron and Doris (Crandall) Tainter. Delores married Otis Wells and the couple lived in Minneapolis for many years. Otis preceded her in death nearly 25 years ago. Delores remained in Minneapolis until 1998 when she moved back to Owatonna. She enjoyed embroidering and loved to write letters. Delores was a very neat person and the first to tidy up after you if need be. She was known for her bright red lipstick and the way she was always dressed nicely. Delores is survived by daughter, Susan (and Mark) Broskoff of Albert Lea; granddaughters, Carrie Wallin of Owatonna, Tina Wallin of Owatonna; great grandchildren, Gage, Page, Kiaya, Joe, Samantha, Farah; brother, Ernie (and Linda) Tainter of Winona; sisters, Darlene (and Ronnie) Seberson of Waseca, Marlys Clark of Owatonna, Diana Clark of Minneapolis, Millie Clark of Albert Lea, Phyllis Samudio of Albert Lea and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother and one sister. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009 from 10am to 11am. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 26, 2009 at 11:00am at Michaelson Funeral Home with The Reverend Dennis Frank officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
