Deloris L. Anderson, 87, a lifelong resident of Owatonna, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Traditions I of Owatonna. She was born May 8, 1926 in Owatonna, the daughter of Lynn and Gertrude (Bendorf) Whitman. Deloris attended District 32 School and the graduated from Owatonna High School in 1943. Deloris was united in marriage to Irving (Bud) Anderson on September 30, 1950 at her parent''s home in Owatonna. She and her husband made their home in Owatonna, and Deloris started working at Gandy Company where she worked for twenty three years. She was a lifelong member of Associated Church, and also a member of Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Joy club. She enjoyed antiques and collecting Owatonna memorabilia. Her special joy was the four beagle dogs that the family had. Deloris enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends, and collecting information on her and her husband''s families. She is survived by her son Kurt Anderson of Owatonna. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Irving in 1996. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Sunday April 6, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and at The Associated Church on Monday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Monday April 7, 2014 at 10:00 AM at The Associated Church with The Reverend Jim Oberg officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
