Deloris May Block, age 98, died on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at New Perspective Senior Living in Faribault.

Deloris Block, the daughter of George and Vivian (Lawson) Deck, was born on August 2, 1924, near Trimont, Minnesota. At an early age her family moved to Owatonna where she attended school. She graduated from Owatonna High School in 1942. On May 24, 1944, she was united in marriage to Edward Block in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They made their home in Owatonna. She was a member of the Elks. Deloris cherished her family and spending time with them. She also enjoyed her pets, living the "lake life" at Lake Francis and traveling to different places around the world.

She is survived by her son Todd (and Mary) Block of St. Peter, daughter-in-law Judy Block of Owatonna; grandchildren Troy Block, Kory (and Brandye) Casler, Tami (and Scott) Roberts, Michelle (and Rodney) Johnson, Craig (and Melissa) Block, Chad (and Tara) Block, Cassandra (and Kyle) Vock, Mariah (and Jake) Speckhard and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward and two sons Steven "Chip" Block and Rodney Block.

Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens at 3:30 PM on Monday, November 21, 2022. Family and friends may gather at Michaelson Funeral Home from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.
