Dennis Eugene Lloyd, age 73, of Verona, Missouri, passed away at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at his home. He was born March 10, 1946, in Rochester, Minnesota, the son of Donald John and Pauline Gladys (Poffenburger) Lloyd. Dennis was a graduate of Byron High School in Byron, Minnesota. He was a machinist and also farmed. In his spare time he loved to build tractors and attend tractor pulls. On December 12, 1964, he married Marie Rhoten in Rochester, Minnesota. They moved to Verona from Minnesota 14 years ago. Dennis is survived by his wife of 54 ½ years, Marie; three daughters, Julie Mussman and her husband, Mike, of Claremont, Minnesota, Cindy Lentz and her husband, Gary, of Estero, Florida and Diane Southwick and fiancé, Kevin Dunagan, of Kasson, Minnesota; son-in-law, Kelly Kenow of Owatonna, Minnesota; two sisters; one brother; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Pauline, and daughter, Denise Kenow. A memorial service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, Missouri, will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the First United Methodist Church in Monett, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at the Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna, Minnesota with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the Dania Cemetery in Owatonna.
