Diana Lee Lawrence, loving mother and grandmother 63, of Owatonna, died Thursday, December 4, 2014 at her home. She was born March 7, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Francis and Virginia (Cresson) Lawrence. She grew up in Chicago and later moved to Kankakee, IL, with Dennis Solvang the love of her life. Her and Dennis spent twenty three years together and had two children whom they loved very much. Dennis died in 1996. Diana moved to Owatonna with her children in 2011. Diana enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, crossword puzzles, and loved her dogs Daisy and Candy. She is survived by her daughter, Crystal (and Manuel ) Romero of Owatonna;, son, Dennis Solvang Jr. of Owatonna, two granddaughters Aliyannah, and Izabella Romero, brother, Frank Lawrence of Chicago, sister, Lana Forte of Chicago and nieces and nephews, and a special nephew Fred (Gloria) Forte of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Mary Thompson, and brothers Fred and James Lawrence.
