Diane Schroht, 68, of Owatonna, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. She was born June 10, 1955 in Owatonna, Minnesota, the daughter of Howard and Eleanor (Speikerman) Schroht. Diane grew up in Owatonna and graduated from Owatonna High School in 1973. Later on she attended Riverland Community College in Austin where she received an associate degree in business. Diane fought a hard battle with cancer and is now free from pain. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Birthdays and holidays were very special to Diane and she loved to spend time with her family during these special times. She loved going to the lake in the summers and ride in her brother's pontoon. Diane loved deeply and she had the biggest heart anyone could ever have. She would do without so others could be helped if they were struggling in life. Her home was always open to everyone and anyone. She knew how to show tough love so you always knew where you stood with her. Diane was the best friend anyone could ever have and she loved her family dearly. She also loved to spend time with her grandchildren and spoil them as much as she could.

Diane is survived by her sons Dustin Schroht and Drew Schroht-Fuller both of Owatonna; grandchildren Dashantae Capote-Schroht, Davant Capote-Schroht, Abigail Schroht, Cielo Fullerwanna, Jazemend Schehr, Demario Schroht and Deacon Schroht-Louks; sister Terry (Gary) Miller of Albert Lea; brother Gary (Connie) Schroht of Brainerd; and brother Tim (Lorie) Schroht of Owatonna. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Eleanor Schroht.

Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 AM, with the funeral service starting at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna. Pastor Chris Meester will be officiating. A private family interment will follow immediately after the service.
