Dolores J. (Larson) Wagner, 83, of Owatonna, died Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Cedarview Care Center. She was born January 2, 1928 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of James and Marie (Quam) Lewison. After she graduated from OHS in 1945 she married Arthur Larson on August 17, 1945 in Presho, SD. They later moved to Oakland, CA and then back to Merton Township to run the Merton Store. The family then moved to Owatonna to raise their children. Her jobs included King Coil Company, Hart's Bakery, and Cedaview Care Center. Her and her husband owned the Havana store that Dolores ran while taking care of her husband who was suffering from ALS. Arthur died in 1971. Dolores then married Walt Wagner in August of 1973; they were together until his death in 1979. She loved working at Wagner's Pool Hall, and meeting new people. She was a life long member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was active with Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, helped in the dining room and kitchen, and was involved with the Bethel Bible study for two years. She was an avid sports fan, including the MN. Twins, Vikings, Timberwolves, Golf, and Tennis. She is survived by her children Dianne Talley, Lonny (and Vali) Larson, Penny (and Miguel) Larson Nepomuceno all of Owatonna; step children Mary (and Dave Schutter of Owatonna, Sharon Dodge of Plymouth, and Terry (and Paige) Wagner of Delano. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren Brandon (and Heidi) Talley, Nathan (and fiance Christina Malone) Talley, Karla (and James) Qualley, Jean Larson, Tanya (and Korey) Borchert, Nicklaus (and Niki) Larson, Ashley, Lewis, and Caleb Hernandez, Step grandchildren Rachel and Alyssa Schutter, Matt, Chris, Andrew Dodge, Bridgett and Miranda Wagner. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren, sister Adelaide Hinckley of Owatonna, and sister in law Jane Larson of Wood, SD.. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, four brothers Leonard, Arnold, Marvin, and James, three sisters Jennie Russell, Unella Burkett,Vergil Huddart, and three infant sisters. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at Trinity Lutheran Church on Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 15, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church with The Reverend Julie Malone officiating. Interment will be in the Thompson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the ALS Society, American Cancer Society, or Trinity Lutheran Church.
