Dolores Joan Renchin, 88, of Owatonna, died peacefully Thursday, August 3, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving daughter and niece. She was born August 17, 1928 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of Carl and Emma (Neubauer) Klemmer. She grew up in Owatonna and married Stanley Renchin on June 27, 1948 at St. John Lutheran Church. The couple made their home in Owatonna where they raised their daughter, Pamela. Dolores was a homemaker and also provided daycare and assisted her daughter with her business. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, camping, playing cards, knitting and crocheting, playing with her dogs and feeding the ducks. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Owatonna where she volunteered with bake sales, funerals and parking cars during the fair. She is survived by daughter, Pamela Renchin of Owatonna; sisters-in-law, Audrey Klemmer and Lavon Renchin; many nieces, nephews and extended family, close friends and her fur babies, Jazzy and JoJo Bells. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Emma: husband, Stanley Renchin and brothers and sisters, John Klemmer, Bob (Vi) Klemmer, Kenny (Loraine) Klemmer, Eleanor (Osborne) Bartness and Lorrinda Anhorn. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 14, 2017 at St. John Lutheran Church in Owatonna with Pastor Dave Klawiter officiating. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Private interment will be at a later date. Memorial preferred to St. John Lutheran Church or Allina Home Care and Hospice.
