Mrs. Donajean Grace (Vosburgh) Ebenhoh, 96, passed away at the Homestead of Rochester, Saturday, October 3, 2020. Donajean was born January 20, 1924 in Minneapolis the daughter of Gordon and Grace (Larson) Vosburgh. After graduating from the Owatonna High School, she worked for the Owatonna Tool company. She soon met a farmer, who became the love of her life, Glenn Ebenhoh, on a blind date. They were married on a very hot day on June 25, 1944. They were married for 61 years and lived on a farm in Claremont Township. Donajean cooked and baked for the farm help often serving them four times a day while raising four children and taking care of the bookkeeping. They enjoyed traveling worldwide with friends and family. Arizona became their winter get-a-way for many years.
Donajean was an avid reader. She also had a great passion for music. Donajean was the choir director for the Presbyterian Church for over 30 years. She was very active in the Presbyterian Church Ladies' Aide, while serving on many yearly fund raisers and social events. She was a member of the Sweet Adeline's, Claremont Study Club and Commercial Club.
Donajean was the center of her family gatherings, as she loved to cook and entertain her loved ones. She was so happy to tell people about her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life.
Donajean is survived by a daughter, Connie Bagley of Rochester; son, Daniel Ebenhoh of Claremont; daughter, Vickie (Lowell) Berge of Dodge Center; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Ebenhoh; son, Thomas Ebenhoh and sister, Betty Krenz.
The family will have a private service at the cemetery and will host a public memorial service in 2021.
