Donald "Sam" Leslie Blaeser, 88, of West Concord, Minnesota died Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the Cottagewood Senior Community in Rochester, Minnesota. Donald was born December 7, 1927 in West Concord, Minnesota the son of Gilbert and Elsie (Sorn) Blaeser. He was a graduate of West Concord High School. Donald served in the United States Army from October 25, 1950 until his honorable discharge on October 6, 1952. Donald worked at several truck and gas station companies including Avery Trucking Service in West Concord. He was a private chauffeur for H.J. Harwick of Rochester for 10 years and retired in 1978. He is survived by many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 29, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home, West Concord Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Concord Cemetery in Concord Township with full military honors conducted by Kenyon Color Guard. Memorials are preferred to United Methodist Church.
