Donald O. Sellner 65, of Burnsville, died Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the Lodge on Summit Oaks Hospice facility in Burnsville. He was born April 3, 1948 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Orie and Edith (Bickell) Sellner. Donald graduated from OHS in 1965 with honors, and then attended the University of Minnesota. He served in the United States Army as an Army Ranger. Donald was united in marriage to Porn Putasen on January 13, 1972 and the couple made their home in Burnsville. Donald worked for Cooks Construction out of Minneapolis. Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going up north. He is survived by his wife Porn Sellner of Burnsville, mother Edith (Bill) Osborn of Winnebago, sister Kathy (Tim) McMann of Owatonna, and brother David (Mara) Sellner of Owatonna, and 3 nephews and 2 nieces. He was preceded in death by his father Orie and one brother Ronald. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday July 31, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 31, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with The Reverend Dean Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens Cemetery with military rites provided by the Steele County Military Funeral Unit.
