Donald Lee Zeise, 70, of Owatonna, died Friday, September 29, 2017 at his home at REM Woodvale in Owatonna. He was born August 2, 1947 in Morristown, Minnesota the son of Vernal and Olive (Jorgenson) Zeise. He grew up on a dairy farm in Deerfield Township. He attended Districe #19 Country School and Medford Public School. Donald worked as farmhand for local farmers. When he moved to Owatonna, he worked at Cedar Valley from July, 1991 to August, 2016. Donald enjoyed traveling and his trips included Branson, Memphis and Yellowstone. He also enjoyed sports and playing checkers (especially winning). He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Medford where he was baptized and confirmed. He is survived by his siblings, Ronald Zeise of Faribault, Dennis (Sherry) Zeise of Medford, Nancy Cloutier of Faribault, David Zeise of Owatonna and Sandra (Greg) Lovejoy of Iron River, Michigan and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernal and Olive Zeise and brother-in-law, Donald Cloutier. A visitation will be held at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna on Monday, October 2nd from 10-11am. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, October 2nd at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna with Reverend Mark Biebighauser officiating.
