Donna J. Deets, 64, of Medford, died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at her home. She was born November 11, 1949 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of Roy and Violet (Langer) Risberg. Donna graduated from OHS with the class of 1968 and then attended Mankato State. She was united in marriage to Dennis Deets October 23, 1971 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna. Donna worked at Truth Hardware for nearly thirty years, retiring earlier this year. She enjoyed traveling, taking photographs, watching football, collecting things, and her grandchildren. She is survived by her two daughters Angie (Paul) Nichols of Oro Valley, AZ, Sara (Jeremy) Hulke of Brooklyn Center, two grandchildren Jack and Emelyn Hulke and her husband of forty two years Dennis Deets of Faribault. She is also survived by a sister Karen (Allen) Rogers, and her brother Wally (Mary) Risberg all of Owatonna. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Lois Risberg. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Thursday July 3, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday July 3, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with The Reverend Dean Smith officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna.
