Dora L. Pumper, 100, of Owatonna, died Monday, November 4, 2019, at Owatonna Hospital. She was born on May 11, 1919, in Erin Township, Minnesota the daughter of George and Ludmilla (Turek) Daleiden. She attended school in Lonsdale. On November 19, 1941, she married Edward Pumper in Faribault. She worked at Harts Central Bakery and Owatonna Tool Company. Dora enjoyed many hobbies including crocheting, knitting, quilting, gardening and canning. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren especially watching them play. She always offered them candy from her special candy dish. She is survived by her children, Carol (and James) Leonard of Hastings, Charlotte (and Wally) Sapp of Cottage Grove, David (and Marcia) Pumper of Corvallis, OR, and Debra (and Jerry) Seath of Owatonna; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Robert Daleiden of Minnetonka. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Pumper; three daughters; great-granddaughter; and a son-in-law, Richard Thompson. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to be donated to Home Bound Ministries of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
