Dora Garza Rubesch, 79, of Owatonna, died Friday, October 11, 2019 at her home. She was born November 18, 1939 in Bexar, Texas the daughter of Rosendo and Antonia (Garza) Pena. She grew up in San Antonio where she graduated from High School. She married William Rubesch on May 5, 1963, in San Antonio. The couple lived for a while in St. Paul and in 1975, moved to Owatonna. Dora was primarily a homemaker and also provided daycare for a while. She was very proud of her three sons and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling and trips to the casino to play bingo. She is survived by her sons, Richard Rubesch of Wesley Chapel, FL, John Rubesch (Fatima Carillo) of Eagan and Timothy (Lonna) Rubesch of Blaine; grandchildren, Ashley Rubesch, Emaly Rubesch, William Rubesch and Elizabeth Rubesch and a brother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosendo and Antonia and husband, William Rubesch. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Owatonna.
