Doris Ann Jones Tidball, 74, of Owatonna, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Homestead Hospice House. She was born August 16, 1944 in Slayton, Minnesota the daughter of Herb and Helen (Hill) Jones. Doris grew up in Lake Wilson where she graduated from high school in 1962. She continued her education at Waldorf University in Forest City, Iowa and earned an associates degree. Doris worked in physical therapy in Rochester, moved to the Virgin Islands and worked for a while, worked at Wenger in Owatonna in the late 1980's and early 1990's and retired from Pearson in Owatonna. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and the Hiawathaland Corvette Club. She enjoyed reading, bird watching, traveling (making a trip to Europe), cats, spending time with her friends and especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She is survived by sons, Ben Tidball of Owatonna and Adam Tidball of Owatonna; fiance, Ron Fuller of Owatonna; brother-in-law, Willie Metz of Windom; grandchildren, Mazin, Ryann, and Tysen and thought of Ron's grandchildren, Devyn, Charlize and Ryker, as her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herb and Helen and sister, LaVonne Metz. Visitation will be at Our Savior's Lutheran Church on Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held March 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with The Reverend John Weisenburger officiating. Interment will be in Dania Cemetery.
