Duane B. Boulden, 72, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at the Owatonna Hospital. He was born June 19, 1936 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of John and Marie (Kinsella) Boulden. At the young age of three months, Duane was brought to an orphanage and there he lived until the age of 12. When Duane was 14, he attended Boy''s Town School in Omaha, Nebraska and found his passion in music. After high school he moved to New Orleans, Louisiana where he worked as a city bus driver for over 26 years. After his retirement, he moved to Owatonna. Here he met June Randall through a mutual friend. June and her family were greatly appreciated and no one has showed him more care and compassion. They were the closest family he ever had and they mourn his passing. He was a member of the Lakeland Chorus in Faribault and the Eagles Club in Albert Lea. He is survived by his fianc June Randall of Owatonna, her son, Randy (Laraine) Randall of Owatonna, and Randy and Laraine''s sons, Justin 'Buddy' and Jeffrey. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Marie and his brothers and sisters. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday, October 17, 2008 from 8:00-9:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 17, 2008 at 9:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Reverend Scott Engelhart officiating. Private burial will be held at a later date.
