Edgar A. Kubalsky, 87, of Medford, died Saturday, August 13, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. He was born March 5, 1924 in Buffalo, Minnesota the son of Charles and Linda (Strohschein) Kubalsky. Edgar married Gloria Rietz on July 1, 1946 in Watertown, SD. He then began working in the Dairy Industry in Buffalo, Minneapolis, and Medford. Edgar was a sales engineer for Crepaco/Apv until his retirement in 1986. He was a past board member at the Medford State Bank, and former Medford School board member. Edgar was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Medford. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and watching birds. He is survived by his wife Gloria Kubalsky of Medford, brother Charles (and Fern) Kubalsky of Brownsville, TX, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Fern Fruehling, and two brothers Arnold and V.I. (Monie) Kubalsky. Visitation will be at Trinity Lutheran Church on Wednesday August 17, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, Medford with The Reverend Dean Rudloff officiating.
