Edith Sellner-Osborn, 92, of Owatonna, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the Owatonna Hospital surrounded by family.

She was born May 5, 1931 in Cordova Township to Byron and Mabel (Elliott) Bickell. Grew up in rural Le Seuer and in Waseca. She was married to Orie Sellner in 1947 and they were blessed with four children. The couple later divorced in 1976. Edith Later married William "Bill" Osborn on June 8, 2002, and they were together until his passing in 2016. She worked at SPX and Owatonna Tool Company for over 17 years before retiring in 1993. Edith was a very active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She taught Sunday School, helped assemble the monthly newsletter, and helped service lunches at various events. Edith was also a lifetime member of the VFW 3723 Auxiliary and served as Junior Vice President and Chaplain. Solo Parents and Singles Inc Edith was active on the local and national level and received the National Outstanding Member of 1992 award.

Edith was a very positive, kind, warm person and always looked for the good in everyone and every situation. She was also a huge Minnesota sports fan and keeping track of the schedules and making sure that she watched as many as she could. Most of all, Edith adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by daughter, Kathy (and Timothy) McMann of Owatonna, son, David (and Mara) Sellner of Ellendale; grandchildren, Justin Sellner, Dalton (and Jess) Sellner, Tim McMann Jr (and Gina Kanto), Kelly (and Chris) Masche, and Kate McMann; great-grandchildren, Cash, Ryker, Ronan, Jasmine, Brenden, Hunter, Hudson, Kenzie (and Jake) Belina, Morgan, Mason, Jack, Kayla, and Noelle; sisters, Violet Yerhot of Waseca, Bonnie (and Jerry) Lieberg of Stillwater; step-children, Bob (and Julie) Osborn, Doug (and Lisa) Osborn, Gary (and Amanda Johnson) Osborn, and Janet Gilreath all of Winnebago; 12 step-grandchildren, 13 step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Osborn; parents, Byron and Mabel Bickell; children, Ronald and Donald Sellner; siblings, Mary Caswell, Irving Bickell, Betty Kulas, Walter Bickell, Virginia McColley; step-daughter, Cheryl Arndt.

Services will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 1PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Amanda Floy will be officiating. Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Garden Cemetery.
