Edward 'Butch' E. Dohrmann, 55, of Rochester, died Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at his home. He was born July 28, 1952 in Owatonna the son of Edward and Beth (Pierce) Dohrmann. He graduated from West Concord High School and attended Rochester Junior College and Moorhead State University. He married Jennifer Unger November 9, 1974 at the Concord Church of Christ. The couple was later divorced. Ed worked for Menard's constructing pole buildings for several years. During his employment with Menards he was recognized as the top foreman in this region. In 1983, he started his own construction company called Agri-Plus, Inc. His company built pole barns and commercial buildings throughout the midwest. Ed took great pride in the quality of his work. He enjoyed time with his family and playing cards. He was an avid college and professional sports fan rooting for his favorites like the Green Bay Packers. He spent many years playing softball. Ed is survived by his son, Matthew (and Nodira) Dohrmann of Rochester; mother, Beth Dohrmann of Claremont; brothers, Dale (and Pat) Dohrmann of West Concord, Dennis (and Cindy) Dohrmann of Claremont, Darrell Dohrmann of Claremont; sisters, Diana Dohrmann of Claremont, Betty (and Richard) Hart of Byron, Bonnie Dohrmann of Claremont and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Visitation will be at West Concord Funeral Chapel on Thursday from 4-7 PM and at Concord Church of Christ on Friday from 9:30-10:30 AM. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 18, 2008 at 10:30 AM at Concord Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery in Old Concord.
