Eileen Jean Heslep, 88, of Owatonna, died Saturday, January 4, 2020, at Koda Living Community. She was born March 30, 1931 in Rolette, North Dakota the daughter of William and Erma (Scheer) Tweten. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior early in life and was baptized and confirmed in the Evangelical Lutheran Church. She attended school in Rolette and college in Porterville, California. She was married two times, having a son with the first marriage and two sons with the second marriage. She is survived by sons, Donovan (and Sue) Heslep of Stanley, ND, George (and Susan) Heslep, III of Gainesville, FL, and Dr. Grant (and Lori) Heslep of Owatonna; brother, William Tweten, Jr. of Bismark, ND; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Erma Tweten, Sr. and husband, George Heslep, Jr. A visitation will be held at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Tuesday. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday, January 7, 2019, at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna with Pastor Micheal Simmerman officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
