Elizabeth D. Liz Wolf, 90 of Owatonna died Wednesday at the Owatonna Hospital. Liz was born October 15, 1924 at the Hutchinson Hospital in Hutchinson, Minnesota. Liz was the first of twelve children born to Mamie (Johnson) McKee and Harry McKee. She graduated from Stewart High, Stewart, Minnesota in 1942. She attended a Business School and worked in the Twin Cities area after graduation. Liz married Clifford Wolf at the 1st Congressional Church in Medford, Minnesota in 1946. Liz and Cliff lived all their married life in Owatonna, Minnesota. Liz worked at the J-C Office Products for 37 years before retiring. Liz and Cliff enjoyed their card groups, reading, and their time spent in Pharr, Texas for several winters before ill health didn't allow them to travel. Liz is survived by her sister-in-law, Eleanor Brase of Owatonna, her niece, Roberta Halverson of Owatonna; sisters, Dee McKee of Edina, Minnesota, and Arlene (McKee) Warner of Davenport, Iowa; sister-in-laws, many nieces and nephews, many grandnieces and grandnephews in addition to cousins and friends. Special thanks for the thoughtfulness and kindness of all that took care of her needs these last few years. Funeral service will be Saturday August 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Oberg officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
