Obituary

Elizabeth Gale Tolzman, 15, of Owatonna, died Thursday, March 3, 2016 at her home. She was born January 4, 2001 in Owatonna the daughter of Victor and Nicole (Butler) Tolzman. Lizzy was a very artistic and musical individual. She was involved in school orchestra since 3rd grade and was honored to participate in the Middle Level Orchestra Festival at Orchestra Hall last year. She had a smile that could light up the room and would appear in the midst of everything Disney especially Ariel the mermaid. Lizzy loved the ocean and enjoyed reading. She often made time to play with her brothers in Maple Creek and would take them on picnics in the park when she was babysitting them. Elizabeth was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where she was recently confirmed. She enjoyed participating in the church youth activities and was looking forward to a return trip to Camp LuWiSoMo where she had the opportunity to help disabled individuals. She is survived by her parents, Victor and Nicole Tolzman of Owatonna; brothers, Samuel Tolzman, Isaac Tolzman; sister, Kaitlyn Smith of Dawsonville, GA; maternal grandmother, Juanita Butler of Owatonna; paternal grandparents, William and Kathleen Tolzman of Owatonna; aunts and uncles, Kevin (and Donna) Butler, Kent Butler, Cheryl (and Rex) Buchanan, Annette (and Doug) Hatch, Melissa (and Craig) Block and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Benjamin; maternal grandfather, Gale Butler. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Sunday from 2pm to 6pm and at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Monday from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. Funeral services will be held March 7, 2016 at 3:30pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with The Reverend Mark Rosenau officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
