Ellen Nina Bremer, age 75 of Owatonna, passed away in the comfort of her own home on Monday, August 25th, 2025.

She was born on October 22, 1949, in Austin, MN. Ellen married her late husband, Gary L. Bremer, on December 9th, 1967. Together, they raised five boys, shared a love for animals, rode motorcycles, & spent time with family.

Ellen had a deep appreciation for all things Western, which led her on her adventures to Arizona in 2001. She resided there for many years, where she established a multitude of relationships & gained her independence as a small business owner & realtor. Ellen loved horses, Elvis, & her canine companions. She unashamedly practiced her right to bear arms, and for many years, had a collection of weapons. A passion she shared with her five sons. Ellen never shied away from making a statement. Her energy, undeniably, shifted every room she stepped into.

Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Gary; her parents, Harold and Freda Kroll, and Charlie Politte; in-laws, Warren and Margaret Bremer; and sister, Charlene Sanders.

She is survived by her five sons, Kevin Bremer, Kary (Tricia) Bremer, Kenneth Bremer, Vince (Michelle) Bremer, Vernie (Kristin) Bremer; her sister, June (Ernie) Valdez; sibling in-laws, Laurel (Rich) Rupe, Adele (Earl) Beals, Faye Schnoor, and Mike (Denise) Bremer; seventeen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
