Ellen Louise Kuefner, 71, of Owatonna, died Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Koda Living Community. She was born January 6, 1948 in Mankato, Minnesota the daughter of Lloyd and Blanche (Jones) Rasmussen. On November 15, 1971, she married Irvin Ray Kuefner in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Ellen was a housewife and a caretaker. She enjoyed music, spending time with family and friends, baking and crocheting. She is survived by daughter, Dawn Needham of Owatonna; son, Lloyd Kuefner of Waseca; sister, Karen Mettler of Mankato; six grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Blanche Rasmussen; husband, Irvin Kuefner and a brother. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be from 3:00-4:00pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at 9:45am on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, gathering in Assembly Area #3 by 9:30am.
