Elsie Marie Stark, 97, of Owatonna, died Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Traditions II in Owatonna, Minnesota. Elsie was born July 20, 1918 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of Isaac and Rose (Fiala) Ptacek. She attended Owatonna School. Elsie married Adolph Stark on January 3, 1938 at the Little Brown Church in Iowa. Elsie worked at various jobs in Owatonna including; as a cook at Owatonna High School, Knodes Cleaners, and Owatonna Manufacturing Company until her retirement in April of 1981. Elsie loved the outdoors with her pets, going on picnics with family and friends, traveling to different states with her husband, and going to dances with the dance group. She is survived by her sons, Glen (Diane) Stark and Gary Stark all of Owatonna; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Adolph; daughter, Shirley Lustig; four brothers, John, Joe, Emil, and Jess; sister, Lillian Christofferson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11:30 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home, Owatonna with visitation one hour prior to the service.
