Emma Rosina Mussman, 98, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Traditions I. She was born November 6, 1921 in New Richland the daughter of Arthur and Emilia (Zwar) Schwenke. Emma married Arthur Mussman August 30, 1939 at First Baptist Church in Owatonna. The couple made their home in Havana Township where they farmed together for many years. Emma was a member of Happy Corners Club and First Baptist Church where she was active in Kings Daughters. Emma loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading and playing cards and was a very good cook. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Short of Denver, CO; son, Kevin Mussman of Dodge Center; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; sister, Ada Logan of Cross Lake and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Mussman; son, David Mussman; daughter, JoAnn Cerand; great granddaughter, Michaela; two brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 11am at Michaelson Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Havana Cemetery in Havana Township. Special thanks go out to Heartland Hospice and Emma's niece, Deb for the care they provided.
