Eunice Ida Kruesel, 86, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Owatonna Hospital. She was born November 17, 1925 in Meriden Township the daughter of Paul and Elma (Mundt) Buecksler. Eunice married Edwin Kruesel on October 25, 1945. They farmed most of their married life near Meriden. Eunice also worked at Swift's in Waseca, Oakhill Nursing Home and Owatonna Nursing Home until her health prevented her. She enjoyed gardening, baking and especially her cats. Eunice is survived by her daughter, Sharon Schuler of Owatonna; son, Duane (and his partner Jim Essex ) Kruesel of St. Louis Park; sister, Delores (and Lyle) Rasmussen of Owatonna; brother, Harlan Buecksler of Osceola, WI. Eunice was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Wilford and Alfred Buecksler, Visitation will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul''s Lutheran Church with The Reverend Gary Rusinko officiating. Interment will be in the Steele Center Cemetery in Somerset Township. Memorials preferred to Homestead Hospice House or to St. Paul''s Lutheran Church of Meriden.
