Eva Viola Beyer, 90, of Faribault, died Friday, October 25, 2013 at Park Place Senior Living in Owatonna. She was born November 24, 1922 in Tony, Wisconsin the daughter of Jacob and Florence (McGuire) Beyer. Eva married Melvin Beyer in 1947. The couple farmed together in Steele County from 1950 to 1964. She worked at Crown Cork and Seal and Control Data in Faribault, and Owatonna Canning Company. Eva loved being around her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed making everyone at Park Place laugh. She also enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and crafts. She is survived by her children, Vivian Spinler of Owatonna, Keith Beyer of Hudson, Iowa, and Arnold (and Judy) Beyer of Owatonna; seven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Melvin, and infant daughter Becky Jo. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Tueaday, October 29, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with The Reverend Julie Malone officiating. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery in Medford.
