Evelyn B. Wandrey, 76, of Owatonna, died Tuesday morning, August 4, 2009 at her home. She was born February 10, 1933 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of Wencl and Clara (Arnold) Dushek. Evelyn attended country school, and school in Medford and St. Mary''s in Owatonna. After school Evelyn and her father did share crop farming for her uncle. She married Keith Wandrey June 1, 1951, and Evelyn and Keith continued farming, purchasing the farm in 1967 from her uncle C.J. Woolison, Evelyn lived on this farm for seventy three years of her life. Evelyn enjoyed her pets, flowers, and was very thankful for all of her wonderful friends and neighbors. She is survived by her son, Dennis (and Debbie) Wandrey of Dekalb, TX, two grandchildren Daniel (and Sarah) Wandrey, and Erin Wandrey. Evelyn is also survived by two nephews Roger Dushek, and Klane (and Shelly) Dushek, and special friends Joe (and Maggie) Gauthier all of Owatonna. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Keith, brother Dick, and sister Marjory. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday August 7, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at The Associated Church on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Memorial service will be held Saturday August 8, 2009 at 10:00 AM at The Associated Church with The Reverend James Oberg officiating. Interment will be in the Havana Cemetery in Havana Township.
