Everett E. Schuler , 82, of Owatonna, died Friday, July 11, 2008 at the Owatonna Hospital. He was born February 7, 1926 the son of Raymond and Daisy (Parker) Schuler. He married Mae Kubicek on Oct. 25, 1945 at Our Savior''s Lutheran Church. As a child he worked on the family farm. Later, he worked for Borden''s Milk Plant for 26 years, as a house painter, and worked at Bonded Gas Station for many years and later purchased the business. Everett was a 42 year member of the Owatonna Eagles and a member of Our Savior''s Lutheran Church. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races, listening to old time music,collecting die cast cars and spending time with his family and friends. Everett is survived by his daughters, Linda Schuler and Nancy (Ben) Wencl, both of Owatonna; son Richard Schuler of Owatonna, grandchildren; Damon (Jodi) Schuler of Shakopee, Travis and Amanda Wencl both of Owatonna, and Melissa Wencl of Waseca, great-granddaughters; Alexis and Aerial, sisters; Doris (Lloyd) Kern of West Concord, Lois Nelson of Fargo, ND, Evelyn Schroeder of Hickory, NC, Gen (Norbert) Bice of Owatonna, brother; Kenneth Schuler of Ellendale, and numerous nieces and nephews. Everett was preceded in death by her wife, Mae in 2001, an infant daughter, 3 brothers and one sister. Visitation will be held at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 16 from 5-7PM . Memorial services will be held at Michaelson Funeral Home on Thursday at 10AM with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Owatonna Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
