Faye Ann Hinderaker, 59, of Farmington, formerly of Kenyon died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at University of Minnesota Medical Center. Faye was born December 27, 1950 in Faribault, Minnesota the daughter of Clarence and Florence (Graham) Johnson. She was raised in Faribault and attended school graduating from Faribault High School in 1969. She was united in marriage to Mark Hinderaker in March of 1969 in Faribault. They continued living in Faribault for a short time before moving to Kenyon. Here she worked for Fold Craft and was also a homemaker. She then began working for Crown Cork and Seal in Faribault and was there for 19 years. Faye then attended Rochester Community and Technical College where she studied dental assisting. They moved to Farmington where she worked at Park Dental in Eagan from 1997 until 2002. She then worked for Salute Dental in Woodbury from 2002 until 2005 and for Rivers Edge Dental Clinic in Farmington from 2005 until the time of her death. Faye was a big Elvis Presley fan. She enjoyed collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia and was able to see him in concert a couple of times. She enjoyed playing the accordion and liked all types of music. She enjoyed traveling and being a member of a garden club, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Mark Hinderaker of Farmington; daughter, Tammy Hinderaker (and Dan Hughes) of Kenyon; son, Chad (and Greta) Hinderaker of Rosemount; brother, Richard (and Marcia) Johnson of Austin; three grandchildren, Anna, Berit and Maggie Hinderaker all of Rosemount. Faye was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, Kenyon on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service in the church. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kenyon with The Reverend Paul Reppe officiating. Interment will be in the Kenyon Cemetery, Kenyon.
