Francis "Louie" T. Loosbrock, 86, of West Concord, Minnesota passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Seasons Hospice, Rochester. Louie was born March 31, 1926 in Wilmont, Minnesota to Frank and Anna Loosbrock. He served in the US Navy from 1943 - 1945, and was stationed in Galveston, Texas where he fell in love and married Dolores Arabit. Following his honorable discharge, Louie and Dolores moved to Minnesota where they have resided since. Louie devoted his life to loving and nurturing his family, and has been a supporter of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for over 40 years. An entrepreneur, avid baseball fan, and lover of fine wine, Louie will be remembered for his generosity and many contributions to the community and his family. For Louie, family was everything. He is survived by his wife Dolores Loosbrock of West Concord; his children Kathy Thorngren (and Charlie Scimeca) of Excelsior; Frank (and Lynn) Loosbrock of Jacksonville, FL; Steve (and Nancy) Loosbrock of Golden Valley; Louie (and Diane) Loosbrock of Edwards, CO; Barb (and Dave) Agerter of Rochester; Deb (and Mitch) Frederick of Rochester; Diane (and Tom) Mirsch of Rochester; Linda (and Tim) Derrington of Kalamazoo, MI; Dick (and Teri ) Loosbrock of Brandon, SD; Dean (and Jodi) Loosbrock of Deephaven; 32 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a brother Florian (and Mary Ann) Loosbrock of Lismore. Visitation will be at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, West Concord on Monday, December 31, 2012 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at 1:00 PM also at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Father Kurt Farrell officiating. Internment immediately following the service will be in the St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery in West Concord. Memorials preferred to Seasons Hospice in Rochester or St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
