Frank James Hodgman Sr., 79, of Claremont, died Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born April 20, 1941 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Ralph and Helen (Henry) Hodgman. He graduated from Claremont High School in 1959.
Frank married Kay Clark and later divorced. He then married Rayma Reger and she died in 1986. On March 15, 1991 he married Sharon Rundquist.
Frank was a self-employed farmer retiring in 1992. He also worked for Hodgman Drainage, tiling and driving truck, retiring in 2008.
He enjoyed fishing, trapping gophers, playing pull tabs and scratch-offs. He especially enjoyed visiting with people and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Hodgman of Claremont; daughter, Kathy Clark of Dodge Center; sons, Frank (and Sarah) Hodgman Jr. of West Concord, Steven (and Jennifer) Hodgman of Enumclaw, WA and Matt (and Ashley) Hodgman of Owatonna; step-daughters, Tammy (and Bruce) Barry of Lakeville, Terri (and Guy) Finne of Byron, Melanie Callister of Rochester and Jodi (and Terri Grose) Callister of Owatonna; brother, Don (and Elaine) Hodgman of Claremont; daughter-in-law, Patti (and Roger Arens) Hodgman of Claremont; 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Helen; wife, Rayma Hodgman; son, Mark Hodgman; grandson, Ian Clark; sister, Donna Howieson and nephew, Scott Hodgman.
Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna on Sunday, July 26, 2020, from 3:00 - 7:00 PM. A private burial will take place in the Claremont Street Cemetery rural Claremont.
