Freda M. Hanzlicek, 91, of Owatonna, died Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Homestead Hospice House. She was born April 17, 1919 in Faribault, Minnesota the daughter of Frank and Ida (Joecks) Schuenke. Freda was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ida Schuenke; her brothers Edgar and Gordon Schuenke; and her husband, George Hanzlicek. She is survived by her sisters Marion Gaveske of Owatonna; Margaret Engel of Rochester; Gertrude Morris of Minneapolis; and Irene Mallon of New Mexico; and her brothers Walter (Betty) Schuenke of Houston, Texas; and Raymond (Donna) Schuenke of Faribault; and her son Charles (Dianne) of Fresno, California; and her granddaughter, Leah, of Los Angeles. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Saturday, June 5, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM . Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Pastor Beau Nelson officiating. Interment will be in the Bohemian National Cemetery in Owatonna.
